This song transformed into a completely different song a couple of years after this recording was made. We actually closed our last show at Terminal West with the new version.

Now it's a fast, dancy song called Bom Bom Bom Blink Blink Blink, but long ago it was called Through the Trees and it was slow and sleepy and pretty.

I believe this version is from the first night we ever played it together. I love how Teresa tells us to raise our hands if we don't want her to sing, and I say "no," and then long pause before I laugh and say "of course I want you to sing, what are you talking about?" :)

We might end up having to do a real recording of it this way too. I hadn't listened to this in a very long time but it's got a really nice, lazy feeling to it.
